Bulk organic Kamut - also known as Khorasan wheat or oriental wheat - is a member of the wheat family although many who are wheat intolerant seem to eat kamut with no problems. An ancient grain - it was originally grown in the middle east and is known for its rich - nutty flavor and variety of uses in baked goods - breads - pastas and even beer brewing. The best way to prepare Kamut is by soaking the kernels overnight then add one cup of Kamut to three cups of water and boil - then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 - 40 minutes until tender.
